Little figures related to agricultural work (La Bastida de les Alcusses and Covalta)

Vitrina 80
These two objects come from the villages of La Bastida de les Alcusses (Moixent, Valencia) and Covalta (Albaida, Valencia). The first one is a cast bronze depicting an ox yoke and rudder in a farming position, the second one is made of iron and is a moldboard plow. Both evidence the importance of agricultural activities in Iberian groups’ daily life.
